Privacy Policy

256Snap, operated by Thrasher Co. Holdings LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency in how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

This Privacy Policy explains how information and images are collected and used when you interact with our photo booth services and our website.

1. Information We Collect

When you use the 256Snap Photo Booth, we may collect:

  • Photos and images captured during your session
  • Optional contact information (such as email or phone number, if provided for photo delivery)
  • Basic session-related data necessary to operate the service

When you send an inquiry or quote request through our website, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email, phone number, and event information.

Participation in photo booth sessions is voluntary.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and booking requests
  • Deliver photos and digital galleries to participants
  • Operate, maintain, and improve our services
  • Provide customer support
  • Maintain internal business records

We do not use your information for purposes outside of our business operations as outlined in this policy.

3. Image Use & Marketing

Photos taken using the 256Snap Photo Booth may be used for marketing and promotional purposes, including:

  • Social media content
  • Website galleries
  • Advertising and promotional materials

Participants are provided with a gallery privacy option at the time of use:

  • Public / Unlisted: Images may be visible and may be used for marketing. Unlisted galleries can be viewed by anyone with the link.
  • Private: Images will not be used for marketing or promotional purposes

By selecting a non-private option, participants acknowledge and agree that their images may be used for promotional purposes by 256Snap.

Photos are used as described in this policy. Rights between 256Snap and the client who booked the event are covered in our booking terms.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, contact details, or photos. We share information only as follows:

  • Event hosts: the person or company that booked the booth can view and download the event’s gallery.
  • Brand Activation events: if you check an opt-in box at a corporate event, your contact details are shared with that event’s sponsor, who uses them under its own privacy policy.
  • Service providers listed below, only to run our service.
  • When required by law.

5. Text Messages

If you enter your mobile number at the booth, you agree to receive a text from 256Snap with a link to your photos, sent from (256) 255-4499 through our messaging provider, Quo. These are one-time delivery messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or email Contact@256Snap.com. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text-message opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

6. Website, Cookies & Logs

Our website is hosted by Vercel. Like most websites, our host automatically records basic technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and operations. We use cookies and your browser’s local storage only for our staff sign-in and staff tool settings; we do not use them to track visitors. We use Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google servers that receive your IP address. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not run targeted advertising.

7. Service Providers

We use these providers only to run our service:

  • Vercel: website hosting
  • Supabase: secure database where website inquiries are stored
  • Microsoft 365: business email, including the notice we receive for each new inquiry
  • Our gallery provider: online event galleries and photo delivery
  • Quo: text messages and calls

When you send an inquiry or quote request, we receive the details you provide and use them only to respond and plan your event. Your inquiry is stored in our database with Supabase, and a copy is delivered to our business email.

These providers are used solely to support our operations and are not authorized to sell or independently use your data.

8. How Long We Keep Information

Online event galleries stay available for 90 days after your event. We keep an internal backup of event photos for 12 months, then delete it. We keep contact details collected for photo delivery for 12 months, and inquiry information for 24 months, then delete them. To ask us to delete your photos or contact information sooner, email Contact@256Snap.com. We will respond within 45 days. Note that copies already downloaded by you or the event host are outside our control.

9. Data Protection

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, such as access controls and encrypted connections, appropriate to the information we hold.

While no system can guarantee absolute security, we work to keep your data safe.

10. Children & School Events

Our website is not directed to children under 13. At the booth, children under 13 should not enter a phone number or email; a parent or the event host should. If we learn we collected a child’s contact information without parental consent, we will delete it.

For events involving individuals under the age of 18:

  • Gallery privacy selections do not constitute legal consent for marketing use
  • Images of minors will not be used for marketing or promotional purposes without appropriate permission from a parent, guardian, or event organizer (such as a school)

256Snap respects all applicable school policies and parental rights regarding image usage.

11. Your Choices

You have the right to:

  • Select “Private” in the gallery to prevent marketing use of your images
  • Request removal of images from marketing materials at any time
  • Request access to, or deletion of, your contact information and photos
  • Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP
